Louis Fellman, the engine behind Abraham’s Natural Foods, launched his Middle Eastern food product line in 1987, when he was invited to cater to a health-conscious audience at the NY Shakespeare Festival. With over ten years in the natural food industry both as a macrobiotic baker and manager at one of the country’s largest natural food distributors, Louis knew exactly what his audience hungered for. When word got out that this was the healthiest and tastiest hummos on the market, Abraham’s Middle Eastern foods expanded and the competition was cooked.

Today, our traditional and innovative flavors of Hummos, Baba Ghannouj, and Taboule, continue to top the charts in taste and quality.

Unlike other companies, Abraham’s does not contain any added oils (ie: canola or soy).  We use only healthy nutritious tahini.
